About This Activity

Equals a whole bunch of fun!

First we must answer a question often asked of our events:  "What is a Fun Run."

Simply, a fun run is a mapped course with no official timing or closures.  This means we're running for fun, making friends, and rewarding ourselves at the end with Yoga, food, and beer.  As always, we add lots of cool swag and surprises to make the morning pretty memorable.

Angel City Brewery, Fleet Feet Sports, Burbank, and Detox Retox host its next Fun Run Festival Sunday May 11th (start time 8:00AM) in Downtown LA.

The day starts out with some coffee and a 5K Fun Run with some special course elements added this time.  The run is at your most comfortable pace and the course is suitable for all levels.

Upon returning you're invited to join a 70-minute thoughtfully prepared Yoga class specifically designed to stretch and restore your body.  Within the same Yoga workshop, runners will learn techniques and exercises to help advance strength and mobility while simultaneously decresing likelihood of overuse injuries.  You may feel you've reached your 'bliss limit' after Shivasana but there's a little more...

After, we gather around the grill to take in our much deserved rewards of fuel in the form of Detox Retox's grub prepared with 100% organic ingredients while Angel City Brewery kindly provides each of us with one of their fantastic beers brewed on-site.

Included with your purchase are the updated tech-tees* (ltd qty), brunch, and beer.

There is plenty of free parking in DTLA on Sundays.  Little Tokyo Metro is 1/4 mile away.

Please contact us at or visit for more information or questions.
