About This Activity

Surrounded by city and sea, this Long Beach Run is the place to be! This gorgeous route is along the beach on the brand NEW resin-based pedestrian path that wanders around the white sand from Belmont Shore to Long Beach Shoreline Marina. Join us for an out and back 5k, 10k or 15k jog along the beach with nothing but beautiful views to enjoy along your journey!

Interactive Route Maps:
Route Details: *Out and back route: All runners start on the LGB beach path at Granada Ave and Ocean Blvd, and run North on the pedestrian path over Belmont Pier and to the 5k aid station. 5k runners return to the start/finish line. 10k runners continue past the 5k aid station, around Long Beach's sandy bay, into Shoreline Marina reaching the 10k aid station where 10k runners turn around and return to the start/finish line. 15k runners do the 10k route, plus the 5k route one more time!
Aid Stations: *Aid stations will be located at the start, 5k, and 10k turn around points. Beautifully renovated public restrooms and water fountains are located every 1/2 mile.
Parking info: *Paid parking is available in the parking lot on the corner of Granada Ave and Ocean Blvd, while lots of free parking can be found on Ocean Blvd.
Charity: *A portion of the proceeds goes to Algalita Marine Research and Education in Los Alamitos to help reduce the "Great Garbage Patch" in the sea. Please donate if you can to help in this effort!
More info!: *Bib pick up starts at 6:30 am and the race will start at 7:30 am. *Race day registration will not be allowed, 100 runners max participation. *This is an open course so please be respectful of others on the path. *There is no time limit, so take as much or as little time as you need. All finishers will receive a medal regardless of their time!
