About This Activity

Lodi Swim Club - Lodi Water Polo Club and Central Valley Triathlon Club invite all cycling and triathlon enthusiasts to the 7th Annual Zin Spin! Enjoy quiet country roads, scenic vineyards and beautiful winery rest stops while benefiting our local youth cycling development and youth swimming and water polo! Each participant will also receive Commemorative water bottles. Commemorative t-shirts will be on SALE day of the event.
End the morning's exhilarating ride with a delicious lunch served under the oak trees of Bare Ranch. All wineries will hold participants purchases for arranged shuttle back to Bear Ranch. Come for the ride, stay for the party!

The Ride 
Lodi Swim Club - Lodi Water Polo Club and Central Valley Triathlon Club invite you to the 7th annual Zin Spin to help support local charities and triathlon programs. Lodi Swim Club - Lodi Water Polo Club is a non-profit youth organization that has supported Lodi’s needs since 1965. Central Valley Triathlon Club offers coaching and mentoring to people of all ages in USA Triathlon sanctioned and non-sanctioned triathlon events. We are grateful to Michael-David Vineyards for their continued support and for allowing us to use the beautiful setting of Michael-David Vineyard’s Bare Ranch.

We want our riders to discover what makes our wine region the nation’s number one region of premium zinfandel wine. Please enjoy our quiet country roads and the beautiful vineyards and wineries of our area while benefiting our local charities and athletic programs.

Directions 
From Stockton, take I-5 north 9 miles, to the Turner Road exit. Follow the I-5 Frontage Road north for one mile and turn right on Woodbridge Rd. Continue east for three miles until you see the signs for parking.

From Sacramento, take I-5 south 20 miles, to the Peltier Road exit. Take the Peltier Road exit and turn left to go under the freeway. Turn right onto the I-5 Frontage Road south for two miles; turn left on to Woodbridge Rd. Continue east for three miles until you see the signs for parking.

The Distances 
Full Zin Spin (100k = 62 miles) 
8:00 am start: Our longest ride, this route features loops through beautiful vineyards, passing numerous vineyards and private wineries, and crossing the Mokelumne River and Dry Creek.

Medium Zin Spin (50k = 31 miles) 
8:30am start: Our medium distance ride, this route passes numerous Lodi zinfandel vineyards, and includes two rest stops.

The Kids Spin (8 miles) 
9:30 am start, is a shorter route for newer riders or young families looking for a nice ride to enjoy Lodi’s beautiful country roads. Prizes will be awarded to the zaniest decorated helmets.

Registration Fee Includes: 
• Wine Tasting at several rest stops and at the Finish • Free delivery of your wine purchases to the Start/Finish location • A Delicious Post Ride Meal • Rest Stops Stocked with Fresh Fruit, Cookies, and Other Munchies • Bicycle Tech Support and SAG • Beautiful Scenic Views

Importation Information: 
• Pre-registration is highly recommended • Ride is limited to the first 500 riders • This ride will take place rain or shine • Course closes at 3:00 pm • Food service ends at 4:00 pm • Weather can turn cool - Bring a jacket • HELMETS ARE REQUIRED • Ride to the right and obey ALL traffic laws
