About This Activity

The Mayors Fitness Challenge aims to keep Little Elm fit.  The Town of Little Elm is excited to bring its 1st community-wide 10-week fitness challenge beginning Jan 3rd, 2015- March 14th, 2015.

During those ten weeks, participants will be encouraged to begin a healthy and fit lifestyle routine. There will also be bi-weekly weigh-ins to keep participants motivated with their progress and finish strong, activities such as seminars on health and wellness, group fitness and sports-like classes for families and singles.  There will also be a Mayor's Healthy meal sponsered at different local restaurants to get community-wide involvement in this health initiative.

Three price packages are offered: one for members of either the Recreation or Senior left; one for non- members; and a basic package. Depending on the package, incentives may include a T-shirt, free entry into the Little Elm Mardi Gras 5K, online personal wellness account, a chance to win an annual Rec Center membership, a personal trainer session, and a 10-week membership to the Rec Center. A Commit to Fit banquet with Mayor David Hillock will end the event to celebrate the successes of the participants.
