THANK YOU.

This event takes place on Saturday, July 26.  Registration begins at 7am and race time is a 8am.  This trail event takes place at beautiful Lost Lake Woods Club located in north-eastern Michigan.  Lost Lake Woods Club is located on 11,000 wooded acres--a northern Michigan paradise!

This event begins at the Club Lodge on a gentle sloping paved road, but soon veers off into a trail run of even and uneven, varied terrain.  Over a couple of bridges, gravel roads, and trails, with amazing views of Badger Lake and beautiful northern Michigan scenery.  This course loops around and ends at the start, finishing with the upward climb to the Club Lodge (oh so fun). The 5k and 3k are great introductory trail runs/walks with single track and trails.

All participants get a great (seriously, it's not a plain white one) race t-shirt, cool finisher medal, great munchies,  entry into the raffle of swag, and the satisfaction of completing one of the best races around!

The event field is limited, so enter early!  Registration after 7/15/2014 does not guarantee T-shirt.

Race day registration and bib number pick up begins at 7am.

Please note that the course closes at 11:30am, so you must finish before then!

The proceeds from the race benefit the Alcona Chapter of the FFA.  The Alcona Chapter as well as the National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.  Your donations, large and small, help our students develop their potential and achieve their dreams.  For more information, we invite you to visit the  Alcona Chapter FFA at https://sites.google.com/a/alconaschools.net/alconaffachapter/

This event has received Michigan Governor's endorsement for health and fitness and is a proud participant in Michigan's Pure Michigan FITness Series!
