The Book Bridge is a Lake County literacy support program for at-risk and underserved children. They serve youth up to age 18 who are in economical, physical, emotional or behavioral crisis situations. These children have little or no access to books of their own and mostly live in residential, safe houses, homeless shelters and similar crisis care programs. Many are Wards of the State and the books given to them become one of their few personal possessions. All of the children flourish from the emotional and academic benefits that come from access to books of their interest and reading abilities. We enjoy raising smiles and skills that will increase their chance to be successful in many areas of their lives.

Join fellow cyclists to "Bridge The Gap" between literacy support and kids in crisis.

Event is an indoor cycling relay with teams of 1-6 cyclists

Race is limited to 16 teams

Teams provide their own bikes or rent one for the event. If you need assistance renting a bike, you will be contacted by race organizers to facilitate.

Indoor cycling requires a skewer to connect bikes to the trainers. Preferably each bike will have their own skewer, but there must be at least one skewer per team.

Awards for all participants as well as individual challenges

Celebration following the challenge with food, drink, & entertainment
