About This Activity

The CASA Super Hero Fun Run is a family friendly event designed to raise awareness and funds for the fight against child abuse.  Get your super hero costume ready!  Wear your cape, mask or t-shirt and come support CASA Liberty/Chambers Counties.  Show abused and neglected children that you care.  Become a CASA Volunteer and let your super powers shine!


We will have a Costume Contest for all ages!


All awards will be presented after the 10K.

Awards given to Top Male and Female overall plus top 2 finishers in each age group.

14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+


1st 50 1K Participants receive a cape, all will receive a mask & medal.  Pre Registered 5K/10K participants will receive T-shirts. (must be registered by October 24th to guarantee shirt)


CASA of Liberty/Chambers Counties advocates for the best interests of children in the foster court system, through the training and support of community volunteers.


Every child needs a hero in their life but a CASA child needs a super hero.

Event details and schedule

The CASA Super Hero Fun Run 1K, 5K & 10K will be held Saturday, November 8th, 2014 and the Liberty Municipal Park in Liberty, Texas.  The 5K/10K course will use a current high school cross country route along with asphalted park trails winding through the Liberty Municipal Park.

7:30 AM - Checkin / Registration / Packet Pick-up

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Costume Contest

8:30 AM - Kid's 1K Run - Ages 10 & Under (Kids under 3 should be accompanied by adult)

9:00 AM - 5K & 10K
