Running with the Angels - Chad Rogers Memorial Run

Event Date

Sat, Oct 11, 2014

Liberty, MO

About This Activity

Chad Rogers was a marathon runner who had a passion for Jesus, his family, all sports, local music and running.  He was always giving 100% to everything he did, whether that was being a husband and stay-at- home Dad, working with the youth at church, running, or attending a concert.

On Monday July 22, 2013, Chad went on a training run and didn't return. After an extensive search, his body was found 4 days later. He left behind his wife Sarah and 13 month old son, Matthew.  Proceeds from this race will go to the Chad Rogers Memorial Trust which will be used for Matthew’s future medical or educational needs and to the Bicuspid Aortic Foundation that does research and funds treatment for the condition Chad had and Matthew has.

Chad is missed greatly by everyone who knew him but we are comforted by the fact that he is Forever Running with the Angels.
