Join us for the 3rd Annual RK-5K, The Twilight Run at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 6:30pm at the Rolex Stadium on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park. We'll have a dynamic warm-up lead by trainers from OrangeTheory Fitness at 6:15pm followed by a short program prior to our race start.
The race will feature a chip timed/competitive 5K run and an untimed 1 Mile fun run/walk. All 5K & 1 Mile participants will receive a commemorative RK-5K technical T-shirt and kids (under 12) participating in the fun run/walk will receive a finishers medal. DJ, Overall & Age Group Awards (5K), Raffle and a beautiful race course. Sign up by April 18th to ensure you get a commemorative shirt!
We have added a VIRTUAL RUNNER/WALKER category for those who can't run/walk with us in person in Lexington on April 28th. Register by 4/20/17 for $30 and we'll mail you your race T-shirt and make a donation on your behalf to Central Kentucky Riding For Hope. Then if you want to run/walk your own "virtual 5k" in your hometown you're welcome to do that.
STROLLERS & DOGS Runners/walkers with strollers, and dogs on a leash are welcomed to join in the fun. We just ask that both groups start toward the back at the beginning of the race.
