KATS Making Tracks 5K For CASA
Sat, Sep 13, 2014
About This Activity
Kappa Alpha Theta at Bucknell University is hosting KATS Making Tracks to raise money for their national philanthropy, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA is a nonprofit organization that trains volunteer advocates to represent abused and neglected children in court. Volunteers help over 240,000 abused and neglected children find safe, permanent homes each year. Our fundraising efforts ensure that CASA can continue to fund these training programs needed for the volunteers, and that these volunteers can spend countless hours investigating the child’s case, monitoring progress, advocating for the child to enable that his/her needs are being met, and report all information to the courts with recommendations in the child’s best interest.
Register today to make a difference in a child's life.
