About This Activity
FAB 50 is headed to the Iron Girl for our 3rd year! To get us ready, we are launching our 13-week "Baker's Dozen" Half-Marathon training program which has been tried and proven to get our teammates across the finish line of 13.1 miles!
Training begins Saturday, January 10, at one of our local squads in Belleair or Dunedin, or through our online Virtual squad. Race day is April 12!
The only requirement to train is a walk-run conditioning level of 3 miles. We will advance you in your diatance runs each Saturday with the squad of your choice, and 2 additional days of training are required to optimally train for the Iron Girl Half-Marathon!
FAB 50 is a group of spirited women who encourage and support each other every step of the way! Don't miss out on an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fabulous community and achieve new heights in your fitness goals! You won't be disappointed!
Event details and schedule
For our local members, FAB 50 training takes place on Saturday mornings at 7AM at the following squad locations from January 10 - April 4, 2015.
Belleair: Meet up in parking lot of Cody's Roadhouse Grill, 2890 West Bay Dr.
Dunedin: Park on SW corner of Publix parking lot in Caladesi Shopping Center, 902 Curlew Rd. Meet up at picnic table directly on Pinellas Trail.
Virtual Squad: Meet up online in our private Facebook Virtual "Sole Sisters" group for accountability and support. Train on your own, following the schedule provided.
A detailed training schedule will be provided to all participants. Weekly emails, text, and facebook postings are offered to keep you informed, motivated, and supported every step of the way!
