About This Activity
Laramie’s own breast cancer 5k race is returning for the seventh year – this year for the first time in August: August 22, 2015. The 5k course is certified by the Road Runners Club of America. The course takes runners through the tree area in Laramie. Start and finish is at beautiful Undine Park in Laramie. There is a one-mile walking option. All proceeds are used to support Laramie breast cancer patients through the Ivinson Memorial Hospital I Love Life Breast Cancer Fund to supplement the radiology and chemotherapy treatment of local breast cancer patients with integrative medicine options. We feel strongly that breast cancer patients benefit from physical and emotional support when dealing not only with the diagnosis of having cancer but also with the harsh side effects of the treatments they are receiving to beat their cancers.
