The 2015 Hawk Island Triathlon Series now offers Kids, Sprint, and Olympic distance triathlons in the Spring and Fall. We proudly welcome and support people of all ages, sizes, and abilities as they venture into the world of triathlon or seek out more challenging distances. Whenever possible, we make every effort to accommodate participants.

SprintSunday, May 31, 2015

500m Swim - 16k Bike - 5k Run
The Spring Sprint Triathlon is held each year on the first Sunday after Memorial Day and is perfect for new triathletes, as warm-up race for experienced athletes gearing up for the summer triathlon season, or for anyone in between!

Racers can self seed into elite, age group, or individual time-trial starts.

Olympic: Sunday, May 31, 2015

1000m Swim - 40k - 10k Run
For more experienced racers or those looking to make the next step in triathlon, the Hawk Island Olympic Triathlon is available.

Racers can self seed into elite or age group starts. Relay Team registration is also available.

Kids Triathlon: Saturday, May 30, 2015

Get the whole family involved! Sign up young athletes who aren't yet ready to take on longer distances for our Kids Triathlon.

Distances vary according to age categories. Goldfish (6 and under) swim 25m, bike 150m, and run 100m. Dolphins (10 and under) swim 100m, bike 3 miles, and run 1 mile. Sharks (11-14) swim 200m, bike 4.5 miles, and run 2 miles.

To ensure the safest race possible and to allow parents the best views of their young triathletes, the Kids courses are completely contained within Hawk Island Park and volunteers are available to help throughout the course.

Don’t forget our Fall Race Weekend!

You can now start and finish your season at Hawk Island!
