About This Activity

Join us to set a Guiness World Record and celebrate our Vets at the American Legion post here in Lafayette, LA during HonorFest 2014!

We will set the record for the largest high-intensity interval training class!!

You must be 16 or older to particpate,  and the class will be guided by trainers from our local CrossFit Herd. The first 350 registered participants who complete the HIIT class will receive a beautiful challenge coin!

Sign up is **FREE** and you also have the chance to make a direct donation to our local American Legion post 69 - our post helps to support our local Veterans and is a vital part of our community.

Here is the exact routine that will break the record!

Low Intesity - 30 seconds of marching in place

High Intensity - 30 seconds of Burpees + 30 seconds of high knees

Low Intensity - 30 seconds of marching in place

High Intensity - 60 seconds of deep squats

Low Intensity - 30 seconds of marching in place

High Intensity - 60 seconds of Jumping Jacks

Low Intensity - 30 seconds of marching in place

FINISHED!!

Event details and schedule

HonorFest is open to the public at 3pm

We will have music food and fun for the whole family

World Record participants will check in to the holding area between 3 and 4.

The record attempt will take place at about 4pm

Parking is available off of Chargois Springs Dr in Heymann Park - a short walk across Surrey St to the Legion grounds. (parking at the Legion will be available for elderly and handicapped)

Bring registration email and valid ID to check in

Wear something comfortable that you can do the 5 min HIIT class in.

Bring the family for a fun day!
