About This Activity

Desert Sands Educational Foundation will hold its 2nd annual fundraising hike event at Lake Cahuilla in La Quinta, hosted by Riverside County Regional Parks & Open-Space District. Hike 4 Education will raise funds to support much needed additional technology in the classroom.

Participants can choose to hike 5 or 10 miles or take the family-friendly 3 mile route around Lake Cahuilla -- something for everyone!  Teams are encouraged to sign up in order to raise funds for their specific school/class/group -- discount available!  Parking inside the Lake Cahuilla Recreation Area is included in the registration fee.   All participants will receive a goodie bag and there will be a raffle filled with great items donated by our local businesses.

(No dogs allowed on hiking trails)

DSEF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization supporting the expanded availability of technology in DSUSD classrooms.  This event will raise funds for Chromebook laptops for student's use.
