About This Activity

Endurance Sports Management and the American Cancer Society proudly present Hotter N Hell 5K Run and Walk

Come join the fun and excitement of Hotter N Hell 5K Run and Walk! The race begins at Victor Ashe Park and traverses the greenway. All proceeds of the Hotter N Hell 5K Run and Walk go to the American Cancer Society.

Where and When - Hotter N Hell 5K Run and Walk begins at 8:00 aM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Victor Ashe Park

Cost and Cause - The cost of registration is $20 until March 31st. From April 1st until May 31st the cost is $25. From June 1st until July 29th the cost is $30. July 30 through Race day registration is $35. All money raised goes to the American Cancer Society.

Registration - Runners and Walkers can register for Hotter N Hell 5K 1 of 3 ways:

-Online: Register for the race online at
-Mail-In: Any mail-in registration must be received by August 2, 2016. Please mail to: Hotter N Hell 5K

-Race Day Registration: Runners/Walkers can register the day of the race from 6:30 - 7:30 at the race registration tent.

Results - Race results will be available via the Endurance Sports Website. Live race results will be available on
T-Shirts - First quality, 100% cotton shirts. Pre-registered runners/walkers receive shirts on race day. Late and/or
race day registrants receive shirts as supplies last. No shirts will be mailed; they must be picked up on race day.
Awards - The Top 3 male and female participants will receive overall awards. The overall winners will not be eligible for the classification awards given to age groups (top 2 in each age group classification will be eligible for an award). 
Refreshments - Refreshments will be available after the race.
Race Day Etiquette - Due to our insurance policy, no rollerblades, strollers, bicycles, or dogs will be allowed in the race.
This event supports the American Cancer Society’s quest to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people get well and stay well, by finding cures and by fighting back against cancer. In the Knoxville area, the American Cancer Society serves thousands of patients through support groups, help with transportation to and from treatment, and the latest in cancer information.
