About This Activity

Join the Department of University Housing at the University of Tennessee as we host the first “Fainting Goat 5k Fun Run”!  Bring your family and friends to this fun event as we celebrate one of our state’s most fascinating and unique animals: the Tennessee Fainting Goat.  This special breed of goat is celebrated in Tennessee for its rare and lovable characteristics, making it a virtual celebrity and a great figurehead for a good cause.

Come walk or run with us in this unique 5k experience as we raise money for Heifer International, an organization whose mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth.
