About This Activity
Storm the Fort Half & Sprint triathlon in Kingston, TN, is conveniently located minutes off of I-40, 20 minutes west of Knoxville. A unique venue that includes Fort Southwest Point, a restored military fort built in 1797. The Storm the Fort half course will include a "cannon shot" wave start swim, followed by a rural bike course that is an extension of the former Storm the Fort Olympic distance course. Bike course is rolling terrain, no major climbs, with three bottle exchanges. The run course will be two laps of the former Storm the Fort Olympic course on the Kingston greenway and through downtown Kingston, with each lap running through famous Fort Southwest Point. The run course will include fully stocked aid stations ~ every mile. Water temp expected to be 78-80, so wetsuit legalilty will be determined race morning.
Greenlayer performance shirts, STF logo socks, Specialized Purist water bottles, and finisher visors to all participants. Catered post race pasta meal, miniature cannon awards to age groups, and the coveted genuine cannonball awards to overall male and female winners.
USAT sanctioned event.
Day of race registration available for Storm the Fort half for $200.

Sprint and half distance races will both start between 7:30 and 8am. Please check the web site for exact start time for each age group wave as we get closer to the event date.
