HKNC's mission is to enable each person who is deaf-blind to live, work, and thrive in the community of his or her choice.
The funds raised at this event will help provide the vital technology, resources and training our students need to live a more independent lifestyle. It will also ensure HKNC’s continued growth as a national leader in serving people who live with a combined vision and hearing loss.
The mission of the North Carolina Deaf-Blind Associates is to advocate for the needs and rights of individuals who are Deaf-Blind and to enable individuals who are Deaf-Blind to achieve their maximum potential by being independent and productive in the mainstream as citizens of the state of North Carolina.
The funds collected from this event will provide Support Service Provider (SSP) services to those who need it, which will ensure the opportunity to maintain their independence throughout the community.
