About This Activity
This is the 8th Annual Summer’s End Fun Run!
Come enjoy a healthy and fun Saturday Morn'- good music, fun booths, and professionally timed.
We aren’t about the hype, colors, middle of the night runs, or rootbeer gardens (although those aren’t bad either).
We are about family; Stroller, wheelchair & community friendly.
We are fun & We are local; come visit our "Farmers Market" and bring something healthy to cook home!
Summers End offers a 5K Fun Run/Walk, a 10K Fun Run, and a Youth 2K. All ages and abilities are welcome. Races start and end at Kentwood High School. Enjoy the fairly flat, fast route through City of Covington neighborhoods. Beanies(we gotta mix it up a little!) for all 5 &10 finishers, and Medals for top 3 runners in each age group & all 2K runners. Online registration closes 9/17.
The Summer's End Fun Run is part of the So.King Challenge. Participate in all five races and take home a medal and drawing to win amazing prizes and roaring applause. Complete four, and get the medal, the applause from the community.
Our goal is simple: to promote healthy living as well as make it easy and fun for families and friends to stay active. Participation is easy! Register for each race individually at the appropriate site. Your participation will be tracked through the results of each race. Questions about a particular event? Contact that run/walk through their website listed below.
