About This Activity

The Niles Home mission "to meet the mental health and educational needs of at-risk youth and their families, empowering them to become confident, contributing members of society" and we primarily serve youth and families from the urban core of Kansas City. Residential Treatment provides 24/7 care for children removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect and abandonment. Niles Prep serves children grades k-12 whose difficulties with emotional and behavioral regulation keep them from succeeding in conventional classrooms.

The Niles 5K will generate funding and awareness to help support Niles Home for Children programs that provide critical mental health and educational services to children within our urban core Kansas City community.

The 5K will start at Niles Home for Children, 1911 E. 23rd Street, wind through the 18th & Vine area, before returning to Niles Home.

Thank you for your support!
