About This Activity

2nd annual MSSU "Run With the Pride" 5k.   This year we are running to honor the memory of Lori Pflug.  Lori was a MSSU graduate who worked as an Athletic Trainer for Mercy Hospital here in Joplin. Lori was passionate about sports medicine and running but sadly passed away in the spring of 2006 from cancer.  Proceeds from this race will benefit the Kinesiology Department at MSSU and the students will take an active role in the planning, marketing, and administration of the event.  Whether you are a competative runner or this is your first 5K we would love to have you join us.  WALKERS ARE WELCOME!  All participants will receive a medal at the completion of the race.
