Glow Big with the Blasters 5K

This event begins and ends at the Joe Becker Memorial Stadium, home of the Joplin Blasters! Included with the price of registration is one ticket for general admission to the game (additional tickets can be purchased with runner registration). During the 7th Inning Stretch participating Glow Runners will storm the field and exit the stadium to begin the race and light up the night!

This is a chip-timed run on a certified course with awards going to the top three fastest times in each age bracket. The 14 age brackets will consist of 5 year increments, ages 12 & under through 70 & up.

All proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jasper and Newton Counties. Your participation in this event will provide children in our community with much needed support to ensure they reach their full potential in life.

We fulfill our vision and mission by providing children support, guidance, friendship, and fun by matching them with adult volunteers who serve as a consistent source of encouragement and support.

Our professional staff works with both the volunteer and the child to ensure a memorable, safe, and fun experience.

Event details and schedule

The Blasters Game begins at 6:30pm and the Run will begin during the 7th Inning Stretch.

On-site Registration will open at 4:00pm outside of the Joe Becker stadium.

Registration includes Neon event tee-shirt, ticket for admission to the Blasters game, and chipped race bib.

After the race, participants will receive an instant print out of personal time results.

Runners will also receive race photos by email, following the event.

Photo ID required to pick up registration packets.

Parking is available at Joe Becker Stadium.

The run will begin outside of Joe Becker Stadium and continue on the Frisco Greenway Trail, completing a circuit and ending back at Joe Becker Stadium.
