$35 per person WITHOUT an optional team singlet, including all online processing fees
$55 per person WITH an optional team singlet (optional for purchase, but not required), including all online processing fees

NOTE - The above amounts do not include race registration fees.  This is just the cost to participate in the Kiwi Cup.   Registration is required into each race individually.

Teams & Team Assignments:

There will be a minimum of five total teams consisting of 4 to 6 men and 4 to 6 women depending upon on the number of registrants.  Teams will be drafted in a snake draft alternating rounds between men and women as follows:

Round 1 teams will each draft one man
Round 2 teams will each draft one woman
Rounds will continue in that order until all participants are drafted
Teams will draft in snake order (the team that drafts 1st in round one will then draft last in round two.  The team that drafts last in round one will draft 1st in round two).
Captains will be assigned by Paul McRae

Scoring:

Cross country style scoring will be used in each race as follows:

Each team will be scored in the Men’s Division AND the Women’s Division

100 points – 1st Place in the Men’s division
80 points – 2nd Place in the Men’s division
70 points – 3rd Place in the Men’s division
60 points – 4th Place in the Men’s division
50 points – 5th Place in the Men’s division
100 points – 1st Place in the Women’s division
80 points – 2nd Place in the Women’s division
70 points – 3rd Place in the Women’s division
60 points – 4th Place in the Women’s division
50 points – 5th Place in the Women’s division
5 points – Participating Bonus - For each team member finishing the race
10 points – Highest Male Finisher One Time Bonus - For the highest finishing male (Can only be awarded once.  I.e. if Marc Burget wins the first race, his team will receive 10 points at the first race.  The next race, if Marc wins again, the next highest finisher’s team would receive the 10 points)
10 points – Highest Female Finisher One Time Bonus -  For the top finishing female (Can only be awarded once.  I.e. if Lydia McRae wins the first race, her team will receive 10 points at the first race.  The next race, if Lydia wins again, the next highest finisher’s team would receive the 10 points)

Each team will be scored as follows:

Teams will only score finish places against Kiwi Cup Teams, not the race field.  (1st place will be the 1st place runner of the Kiwi Cup runners, not the entire race field)
Top two or three will score (depending upon the team size – If teams have four per gender, two will score, if there are five or more per gender, three will score)
Next two finishers will displace (won’t count for team scoring but can offset another teams finishing place).
In the event of a tie the score of the first non-scoring runner will serve as the tie breaker.

Awards:

The total cash purse will be determined once the total number of teams and participants are finalized
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams as follows:
