About This Activity

Diamond in the Rough, in support of Speedway Trails Association, is a non-competitive, family friendly event to showcase the trail system in Speedway, Indiana.  Runners, walkers, & cyclists are able to choose between routes of approximately 5k & 5-miles.

Speedway Trails Association is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working with residents, organizations, and businesses in and around the Town of Speedway to promote and develop the trails as best as possible.  Work is in progress to connect the trails along the Diamond in the Rough route to the trail system throughout Indianapolis/Marion County and the surrounding region!  To accomplish our goal, we educate the public about the benefits of trails and work to raise funds to help build and maintain our trails beyond their current state.
