About This Activity
Fun Paddle-Out, Demo Day for Stand Up Paddleboarding / Kayaking, & Races!
In Zion Canyon Country, paddle season never ends! Celebrate the coming Holidays and all that we are grateful for on glassy fall waters at Quail Creek State Park. You'll notice low ticket pricing for this event. Bring at least two cans of food for Dixie Care and Share. We'll deliver all donations the following week, probably Monday afternoon when the Hurricane branch is open.
Stand up paddleboards, kayaks, outriggers, or whatever else you think you can paddle, are welcome to the party.
Paddleboard and kayak demos available throughout the day. Dig Paddlesports is S. Utah's dealer for Glide SUP, SIC Maui, Imagine SUP, Pau Hana, Doyle, and H2O Generation. Special thanks to Glide SUP and Glide Team Ambassador Michael Schwab of schwabydogs.com and Glide Dealer Bearfoot Yoga's (Evanston, Wyoming) Jen Ellingford for providing additional demo boards.
Food: Bring your own lunch, and we'll host a potluck dinner at 5pm, and you are welcome to participate in the potluck even if you don't come out to paddle! Snacks and water provided for event participants.
People: Zion's paddlers are down-to-earth and love to hang out on the water with other enthusiasts. We're always impressed with the caliber of paddlers, beginner to expert, that come out to enjoy Quail Creek Reservoir.
