Couch to 5K is a 10 week/ 2nights a week, supported training program for men and women walkers, walk to runners, and runners of all ages. The training and clinics will focus on fitness and well-being! This program is for people who are challenged by walking a half mile, those who are comfortable running three miles, and every pace and distance in between! You will recieve a Howell Parks & Recreation MelonFest water bottle, coaching support, an invitation to attend tow group training sessions each week, an in-store discount coupon for Playmakers, training-related clinics, and entry into our goal 5K event and a weekly newsletter.
We will train on Tuesday's and Friday's at 6pm for 10 weeks at the Bennett Recreation Center (925 W. Grand River Ave.). Our first training session is on Friday, February 17th with the program culmination on Saturday, May 6th at our goal event!
Kick Off Meeting: February 17th, 2016 at 6pm. We will not train this night.
