About This Activity
Special Olympics provides year-around sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, and other Special Olympics athletes in the community. We will be hosting our Inaugural Hope Mills Police Department Special Olympics 5K Road Race/Walk. This year’s event will begin at 7:45 am at the Hope Mills Town Hall, 5770 Rockfish Rd.
