2014 FIN SWIM at Ala Moana Beach Park, sponsored by the WAIKIKI SWIM CLUB

This year's race is dedicated to Theone Chock, former Kamehameha Schools PE teacher. She was a tireless supporter of the FIN SWIM and the Biathlon Series, bringing her students to the swims so they could satisfy their swim competency graduation requirements. Aloha a hui hou, Theone.

COURSE: 2000 meter swim. Start in water at Magic Island end of Ala Moana Beach. Swim 1000 meters towards Kewalo end. Turn clockwise around buoy. Swim 1000 meters back to Magic Island. Finish up the beach through the chute.

EQUIPMENT: FINS, goggles, masks & snorkels permitted. No hand paddles, wet suits or floatation devices allowed. YELLOW

SWIM CAPS are mandatory & will be available at registration for swimmers who are without.

ESCORTS: No personal escorts allowed. Lifeguards and course marshals will patrol the course.

AGE GROUPS: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.

AWARDS: 1st - 3rd overall, in all age groups for male & female.

WSC reserves right to deny entry to anyone for any reason.

LATE ENTRY: Add $10 for late entries. Payment by check (no cash) accepted by 7:30am ON RACE DAY near Magic Island bathhouse.

RACE NUMBERS: Entrants must report for numbering 6:45 to 7:30am on Magic Island near the bathhouse.
