About This Activity
The Homestead Sports Complex in Homestead, Florida is the new host to the Homestead Baseball Camp Extravaganza 2014. The purpose of this camp is to teach the fundamentals as well as the advanced skills of baseball to various age levels,helping each participant to better understand the game both mentally and physically.
As a player you will be evaluated by a professional eye and receive hands on, intense baseball training. Our goal as a staff is to provide you with the tools to better your game, increase your knowledge, skill and confidence and assist in getting you to the next level of play and beyond. What to expect while on the camp: Fundamentals,Base running,batting practice Hand-Eye coordination drills Catcher skills-receiving,blocking,throwing&more Modify scrimage games Outfield play-including throwing from the outfield Outfield play-routes,positions,jumps,footwork Infield Play- Corner Play & middle infield play infield Mechanics, huge reps,tweaks,turns,feeds Situational hitting including Bunting Stance,balance,Mechanics,situational Hitting &Swing Path for hitting. The numbers for this camp will be capped at 200 campers, so please register now!

Event Schedule: Decenber 13 & 14
Camp Hours: 9:00AM-3:00Pm (Check in will be at 8:00AM)
Camp waiver: Each participant will need to bring a signed waiver by their parent or legal Guardian.
Meals: Meals will not be provided for this event. You may bring your own lunch.
Parking lot Information: Parking lot available at the Homestead Sports Complex at no cost.
Miscellaneous Information: Snacks, water and Gatorade will be provided at the event at no cost. Parents and family members our allow to be at the camp while students are in training.If for any reason you need to cancel camp there will be a $50.00 cancelation Fee.
What to bring:
Equipment: Each participant must bring his own baseball equipment. Items recommended bringing, Athletic Clothing, Gloves, bat, running shoes or turf shoes, cleats or spikes, helmets and hats and any other equipment they feel necessary. Catcher will need to bring their own gear. Remember to label all equipment, equipment bags and belongings with your name and contact info.
