About This Activity

The Hershey Half Marathon will take participants on a 13.1 mile tour of Hershey, Pennsylvania with several memorable locations along the way including Hersheypark, Milton Hershey School, the world-famous Chocolate Avenue and more!

Participants can choose to run or walk the 13.1 mile race individually, or as part of a 2-person relay team.

Event details and schedule

Runners and Walkers will start together at 7:30 AM.

For those participating in the relay race, transportation will be provided to and from the half-way point. All participants must maintain a 14-minute mile pace.

Registration fee includes unisex long-sleeved tech T-shirt, goodie bag, finisher’s medal, post race refreshments and 2 tickets to Hersheypark In The Dark.

Hersheypark in the Dark is open to the public. Regular-priced tickets are available online or at the Ticketing Services Building, near the Front Gate.
Your park tickets are valid on the following dates:
Saturday, October 17 - Sunday, October 18
Friday, October 23 - Sunday, October 25
Friday, October 30 - Sunday, November 1.
NOTE: Hersheypark In The Dark is open on Friday, October 16, however, packet pickup for the race begins on Saturday, October 17. We are unable to accommodate early ticket/packet pick-up.
Spectator Information:
The race begins and ends at Hersheypark Stadium (located on the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex.) Spectators can view the race from various locations in Hershey including Chocolate Avenue, and Milton Hershey School.
Hershey’s Chocolate World is open daily in October at 9:00 AM. Closing times vary. Experience the FREE Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour ride, complete with your own sweet FREE Hershey’s sample.
Post-Race Massages:
The Spa At The Hotel Hershey will be offering on-site complimentary post-race massages to registered participants on a first-come-first-serve basis.
