About This Activity
MTWTRi is a user friendly multisport event in Helena. It starts at the city pool in Memorial Park. It's a 50 meter outdoor pool with no deep water. Our swim is a 500 meter swim which equals 10 lengths of the pool. Your lane is yours until you're done. No pressure. The bike is a flat course out in to the valley starting with a warm up loop in Centennial Park then on to the the city Nature Trail where you'll cruise out and head toward the valley. Skip the trails on the way back to Memorial Park pool for a 12 mile bike ride. We have help on the road if you have a mechanical problem. The 3 mile run/walk is mostly in Centennial Park where you cruise on the trail past the carousel and back through the tunnel to the park where you can wave your buddies on and have others cheer for you. Do it yourself, do it with your friends, get a three generation team, talk you Mom in to doing it with you.
The goal of the Montana Women’s Triathlon is to empower women to healthy lifestyles. We aspire to bring together a community of women who support and encourage each other through the entire process of training to participating in a multisport event. This event is for women of all ages and we encourage individual participation as well as team participation. The event supports organizations that share our passion - Girls Thrive/YMCA, Hell'z Belles Junior Roller Derby Team, Rock Solid Junior Triathlon Team, Running for Montana's Future/The Angel Fund
