7:00 a.m. – Non-Competitive 5K Run/Walk begins
7:15 a.m. – 1 Mile Run/Walk begins

Are you child and stroller friendly?

The event is child and stroller friendly. Children under 5 are free. Children 6 and older will be required to register and receive a numbered bib.

Are you dog friendly?

While we obviously love dogs, please leave your furry friends at home.

Is the event timed?

This event is a non-competitve fun run/walk and will not be timed. Competitive and non-competitive runners and walkers are welcome!

Is this a charity event?

All proceeds will go to support the APDT Foundation, a 501c3 registered charity with the Internal Revenue Service. The APDT Foundation was formed by it's namesake, the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, to raise money for research into dog behavior to better improve the lives of dogs and their owners.

When will packet pick up be?

Packet pick up will be available the morning of the race.

What is the course?

The course will be along the river walk by the Hartford Convention Center. Detailed map coming soon!

The 5K is being held in conjunction with the annual APDT Educational Conference & Trade Show. The trade show will be open to the public following the race from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, October 18th.
