About This Activity

Looking for a 5K that's actually challenging? Something you can be proud of?

We want to challenge you to complete 1000 rep challenge. Gather your teams of 5 and get ready. 

The challenge consists of 5 events that must be completed collectively:

100 pullups

200 overhead presses

300 bar pushups

400 deadlifts (men 185 women 95)

Each event will be held on a 5k track and you're competing for time so you'd better run fast. Each member of the team must finish in order to win the event.

A complete list of rules will be emailed before the event.

Event schedule and times

When you arrive we will have waiver forms for participants to sign.

Start time is 8:00 am at Heritage Park Fitness. The event will kick off with pull-ups. Teams will race up the hill to Wampum Drive and complete 200 overhead presses then up to Carl Levin park to complete 300 bar push-ups, run around the course and back to Wampum to complete 400 deadlifts. The team's time will stop when every participant finishes the race back at Heritage Park.

Demonstration of proper form and time penalties will be discussed with teams Thursday, June 12.

There will be a water station at Carl Levin Park. Additional parking will be available in the parking lot across from the gym.
