About This Activity

Bring the family and friends for the weekend and enjoy the scenery of Plumas County and Indian Valley. The camping, fishing, hiking, biking, and boating in this area are all fantastic!  Rounda Valley lake, 2-miles above Greenville, is absolutely beautiful.  The run is 5.4-mile course around the lake running in Plumas National Forest on mostly flat terrain through meadows and forest. There are camping sites or hotels to stay at.  Come for the race and stay the weekend to play in Indian Valley!

Event schedule and times

Registration on the Day of the race begins at 7:30am to 8:30am.  The Kids' Event, a 200-yard mini-course on paved surface will begin at 8:30am. The Main Event (5.4-mile) and the Junior Event (1.5-mile) (for ages 11-16) begins at 9:00am.  Ribbons, photos and prizes will be awarded to winners and participants.  There is a Race Day Raffle, along with the Grand Raffle, which has over $7,500 worth of gifts.  Proceeds for this run go to Indian Valley Youth Programs.  Visit our website:

Hats will also be provided. Be sure to wear comfortable running/walking shoes/clothing.  Bring your ID, signed waivers, and a camera. 

Parking is available at designated/marked areas near the Start Area and in day-use areas between the dam and Start area.  Family and friends coming to watch need to arrive NO LATER THAN 8:15am as the road becomes the course and is blocked.

Any contribution beyond the entry fee will be consdered a tax-deductible donation to the youth programs in Indian Valley. These gifts are greatly appreciated and will help us promote recreation and activities in and around Indian Valley.
