About This Activity

The Greensboro Shrine Club and teamindure have joined together for the

Shriners Run to the Rescue 3K/5K to benefit Shriners Hospital  


The Shriners Run to the Rescue 5K will be chip timed by Trivium Racing.  3K will have running timer.  Kids under 13 can register for free for the 3K and are only $15 for the 5K with a paid adult.

We will have prizes for best Adult and Child costume for those interested in dressing up. Costumes not required

Finishers awards will be given to all finishers 5K event.

Awards to the top 3 males and females in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.


Packet Pick Up/Walk Up Registration

Friday Oct 28th, Fleet Feet Greensboro, 3731 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro.  4-7 PM

Saturday Oct 29th.  Jaycee Park Drive.  Far end of parking lot past Spencer Love Tennis Courts- 7 AM

Shriners is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship, and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, truth, and relief.

What are the Shriners Hospitals for Children?

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 hospitals located throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico that offer specialized medical care to children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate are eligible for care.     Eighteen of the 22 Shriners Hospitals provide comprehensive pediatric orthopedic care to children, including outpatient and inpatient care, diagnostic services, surgical and medical care, cast and braces, prosthetics, X-Rays, rehabilitation, recreation, and continuing education.

Patients must be under the age of 18 and are not required to have any familial affiliation with the Shriners. The motto of Shriners Hospitals for Children is "Love to the Rescue". They also give each child a specialized after surgery gift based on their interests.   Shriners Hospital for Children are open to children regardless of their race, religion, or relationship to a Shriner.  There is never a charge to the patient or parent for any service or medical treatment received at Shriners Hospitals.
