About This Activity

The Missouri RIver Rampage is a USAC sanctioned Mountain Bike Race in Great Falls, Montana with Cat 1-3 races and a Junior event.  The race is scheduled for Sunday, August 27, 2017.  Cat 3 starts at 8:00 am, Cat 2 starts at 8:15 am, Cat 1 starts at 8:30 am.  A Juniors race will follow the adult events.  The race will start from the Lewis and Clark Overlook at the east end of Giant Springs Road in Great Falls, Motnana.  The race will take place on the South Shore Trail.  The courses have a mix of flats, hills, and unique technical portions, especially the Cat 1 race.  The race runs along the mighty MissourI River.  Go to www.racemt.com to see course maps and videos of all four courses.

There will be an expo on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Heritage Park (4600 Giant Springs Road, Great Falls, Montana 59405).  The expo will feature several bike shops from Great Falls with demo Mountain and Road bikes to trial as well as bike gear/accessories.  There will be clinics on bike repair and bike handling skills.  There will also be other vendors, food, give-aways and more.  Consider camping overnight in Heritage Park Saturday night, Aiugust 26th 2017. There will be a movie and popcorn Satuday night for all participants and campers.

If you feel very energetic or if you have a family member who likes to run, there will be a relay off-road running race on the morning of Saturday, August 26th, 2017 on the South Shore Trail.  Go to www.racemt.com and click on the Trail Series and get more information on this event.
