Start your running season with the Spectrum Health Irish Jig! Now in its 34th year, the Irish Jig has grown to become one of Michigan’s premier 5K races. This 5K (3.1 mile) USA Track and Field approved course features long straightaways on Wealthy, Lake and Hall streets. It is mostly flat with a few gentle hills. The start is a five-minute walk from the East Grand Rapids High School gym. Spectrum Health is proud to provide this event as part of its mission to improve the health of the communities it serves.
The top age group winners receive awards, and the top overall finishers receive cash awards. New this year, wheelchair and handcycle participants are invited to register in exhibition divisions with an 8:55 a.m. start on March 18. As always, the Irish Jig features its trademark long-sleeved shirts for early registrants. See below for more information.
