About This Activity

Ottawa County is thrilled to be partnering with the Michigan Department of Transportation and the Ottawa County Road Commission to offer the M23.1k Run on October 21, 2017. The M231 Highway stretches seven miles through the spectacular, rolling countryside and over the Grand River in West Michigan. Runners can choose from a 23.1k run or a 4 mile run over CLOSED course. The highway will be closed to traffic from approximately 5AM - 1PM. Details, FAQs and more at miOttawa.org. You can also search our hashtag, #m231k, on social media for announcements.

The JR Automation Post Race Party will take place at the Start/Finish Line located beside the Grand River at Conner Bayou. Be sure to purchase your Pipe-Line Smokehouse Lunch tickets your registration! BBQ, salads, and plenty of sides will be offered. One adult beverage from Grand Armory Brewing is included with the price of your registration. A cash bar will be available for guests and additional drinks.You MUST have your valid ID to consume alcohol.

The race will be capped at 300 total runners and the price goes up progressively until race day. There will NOT be registration on the day of the race. If space remains, you can register at packet pick-up on (October 19) Thursday from 3-8PM and (October 20) Friday from 3-8PM at the Filmore Complex, 12220 Fillmore, West Olive by cash or check only. You can pick up your bib or shirt the day of the race.Proceeds from the run will go toward Ottawa County’s non-motorized pathway system, specifically the Grand River Greenway Trail, North Bank Trail and Spoonville Trail.
