About This Activity

The 4th Security Forces Squadron Association is organizing a 5K/10K walk/run to help raise funds for Goldsboro Community Soup Kitchen.  Goldsboro Community Soup Kitchen serves over 45 thousand meals a year.  Those meals are made available by donations from service bound citizens, private donations and other fundraising events.  The event will be held at Wayne Community College located in the heart of Goldsboro, NC.  In addition to raising funds to feed our local community we will also be accepting canned food donations well as cash donations for those unable to participate in the walk/run.  All proceeds collected will considerably assist Goldsboro Community Soup Kitchen.  This is a family affair, for the younger generation, a 1 mile costume walk is available.  For the competition minded runner, they can compete for the top male and top female runner positions.  Awards will be presented to the one top male runner and one top female runner.  Please help us feed our local families in need.
