About This Activity

The tri-distance Pink Pumpkin Pedal-Off bicycling event benefits the UF Health Triple Negative Breast Cancer Research Fund.  Hosted by the non-profit CSCRB, Inc., proceeds from the 2012 & 2013 Pedal-Offs have contributed over $33,000 to the fund to date.  To see the story published on August 10th, go to and scroll down to "news and events."


Event details and schedule

Register to ride your choice of 23, 40, or 62.5 mile routes, leaving the University of Florida campus at 8:30 a.m. October 4th and touring Gainesville's historic southeast district, the natural beauty of local lakes and native habitats, and a roll along Florida's paved and scenic Hawthorne Trail. 

On-site registration begins at 7 a.m. at the Cancer &Genetics Research complex at the corner of Mowry road and Gale Lemerand drive. on UF's campus. 

Pre-registration fee includes a dri-fit event shirt, pre-ride breakfast, full on-road support, a hot lunch and live music.  Register online at or via Gainesville Cycling Club's website:  Information about parking, route maps, event schedule, etc. will be posted on the website and on the Pink Pumpkin Pedal-off facebook page, as it becomes available.

Helmets are required on all rides.
