About This Activity

Kinetix Physical Therapy in Haile Market Square is hosting the 6th Annual Fitness Extravaganza on April 5th from 4 pm-7 pm. The purpose of this community event is to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle to people of all ages and fitness levels. At the event, Physical Therapists from Kinetix will be offering complimentary pain/injury screenings, posture screenings, body mechanics education, and information about our PT services. Other local health-related business will also be present, offering more information about their organizations. Food and live music will be provided compliments of Kinetix for those in attendance.

A new addition to this year’s event is a 5K run, with all proceeds benefiting Balance 180 Gymnastics & Sports Academy.  Balance 180 (listed under Jordan Klausner foundation*) is a local non-profit organization that aims to empower children and young people with varying needs and abilities to exercise their minds and their bodies through adapted physical activity. They give children the opportunity to participate in recreational and adaptive gymnastics, while encouraging them to learn and grow to their unique potential. The Kinetix team hopes that you will join us as we help to support Balance 180 in their continued efforts to make a difference in children’s lives in our Gainesville community.

Children age 12 and under can register onsite the day of the run for only $5.  Children in strollers are FREE.  Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian accompany them to register.
