About This Activity
Date 2/21/15 time event starts at 9am. Starts at Noccalula Falls Chapel. Sign in starts at 7:30 am. Cost $35. T-shirt is provided with pre-registration. Tshirt Deadline- 2/14/2015 *All proceeds benefiting Young Life Ministries.
Event description: this is a 5 mile trail run with body and pack weight exercises along the course. You will provide your own pack/ruck. We will provide uniform weight bricks, bubble wrap and duct tape.
*You will be issued a bottle of water to carry for hydration.
Trophies will be awarded to the Top 1-3 finishers, Under 17 group, Masters and Grand-Masters for both male and female. *Master Completion patch for all those completing the course. *While there will be overall winners the focus is on completing the challenging course. Signing up as a team is not required but is encouraged. You will find that having someone to help motivate you is beneficial. *This event is designed to challenge both the runner and Crossfit/lifter. Training runs and tips will be posted on Gadsden Runners Club Facebook Page.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-up starts at 7:30AM
5 mile course that starts and ends at Noccalula Falls Practice Fields. Course will be mostly trail and moderately challenging.
Bring your own backpack/ruck. Uniform bricks, duct tape, bubble wrap and 1bottle of water will be provided. This is what you carry with you and must return with to the finish line.
*Brick distribution as follows. One brick per 50 pounds of body weight. Example: if you weight 125 pounds you will carry two. Over 150 pounds you carry three up to a max of four bricks for anyone weighing over 200 pounds.
*Body/pack exercises: There are 7 body/pack exercises: Lunges, Bear Crawl, Crab walk, Duck Walk, Burpees, Overhead Carry and one surprise challenge.
