About This Activity

The Kindness Matters Walk will be held in-person in Fullerton, CA on Thanksgiving morning and virtually wherever you are for 2021!  All participants are encouraged to register online in advance of the walk.

How does the virtual walk work?

Starting on 11/12/2021 through 11/25/2021, you can run, walk, roller-blade, kayak, or even push a stroller on your own 5K.  It’s your choice!  We will be streaming a live event complete with giveaways, contests, speakers, and more on 11/25/2021 at 8:00 am PST.  Post pictures of you/your group as you do your activity, and post to Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag "#KMWalk2021" - we would love to see you!  *** If you want to participate in the race/walk challenge (i.e., who walks or runs the most miles), you will need to register for the virtual walk - and of course you are welcome to walk in-person on 11/25 in Fullerton even if you register for the virtual walk ***

Registration is simple - just click the "Sign Up" button to start your registration process.  Register yourself or others in your family/group - and please create or join an existing team if you'd like.  Registration is $10 per person.  Each participant will have the option during the registration process to select an "add-on" - to include a walk shirt and/or goody bag (this is optional, but you'll want to make sure you get a 2021 KM Walk shirt and/or goody bag).  The add-on options will only be available until: 10/31/2021 for walk shirts; and 11/18/2021 for goody bags.

You also have the option to make a donation directly to the KM Legacy Fund at the Orange County Community Foundation.  Another great way to support the KM Legacy Foundation! (this is optional.)

You will see our event sponsors on the screens during registration.  Please help support these companies/groups as they have so generously supported the KM Legacy Foundation.  Thank you sponsors!

Proceeds from the KM Walk support brain tumor research at a national level, and young adult leadership development opportunities locally in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District.
