About This Activity
The Millerton Lake Sprint Triathlon has long been known as a great "first lake swim" triathlon, and a warm up for the upcoming season. But don't let the bike and run distances fool you, there are a few steep hills on the ride, and the trail portion of run is a challenge.
Sprint Individual or Relay - Begins at 8:30 AM
400 yards: The swim is in Millerton Lake - wetsuits are allowed.
10.5 Miles: The bike is out and back with rolling hills. The entire ride is within Millerton Park.
2.25 Miles: The run is both on pavement and trails.
More of a good thing... The Olympic Distance has a more challenging swim, two loops of the bike course, and more trail run heading out, with a paved road coming back and beautiful Millerton Lake as the backdrop.
Olympic Individual or Relay - Begins at 8:00 AM
1200 yards: The swim is in Millerton Lake - wetsuits are allowed.
21 miles: The bike two loops of the Sprint course with rolling hills. The entire ride is within Millerton Park
