This 4 mile course represents the 4th of July, 4 miles on the 4th. Adding to the unique distance involved is the pristine setting of Woodward Park and the River Loop. Also we have the 2 mile run/walk and the little fire cracker 1/4 mile. The American Flag lined course should inspire runners and walkers to give that extra effort in crossing the finish line and to enjoy the start of this great American holiday with friends, family, and other competitors. The first race begins at 7:00am.

This year's donations like last year's support the Central Valley Honor Flight! Let's show our veterans how much we appreciate them. They are the reason we can celebrate our Freedom!
We would like to extend a challenge this year by asking you to form a team. We encourage you to be creative with your team name and outfits for race day. There will be awards for the team with the most members and the team with the best patriotic costumes.
Please NOTE! We will be using the same Woodward Park shelter as last year - Sunset View Shelter. The Sunset View Shelter will be the first shelter using the LEFT road as you enter Woodward Park off of Audubon.
The Freedom Run is presented by Sierra Challenge EXPRESS Running Club!
