About This Activity
Located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, this course begins at the LBJ State Park Visitor's Center and winds through the Park's scenic nature trails. The course travels along Ranch Road 1 where participants can enjoy picturesque views of the Pedernales River and wildlife including white tail deer and buffalo. The 10K course extends to the LBJ National Park where President Johnson's birthplace and the Johnson Family Cemetery can be viewed.
The event takes place on the same weekend as the Wildflower Seed Stomp hosted by LBJ State Park.
Event details and schedule
Event hosted by the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds benefit the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
Registration on race day begins at 6:30am at LBJ State Park, the Park is located 16 miles East of Fredericksburg Texas on Park Road 52 off of Hwy 290. Parking, restrooms, and refreshments located at Park Visitor's Center. Runners packets and T-shirts available for pick up on race day before 7:30am. Both runs and walk will start at 8:00am. Dogs are welcome on 6ft leash or less.
Registration prior to event is $20 for 10K/5K run and $15 for 5K walk. Children 10 and under are $5. Registration on race day is $25 for adults. No refunds due to mother nature & race will not be rescheduled.
