Mud Dog Run - Zombie Edition 2014
Sat, Oct 4, 2014
About This Activity
The Horde is coming back to Maryland!
This 5K course will have over 18 obstacles ranging from mud pits, cargo nets, climbing walls and other grueling obstacles to have fun running through, under and over. The spin is that there will be Zombies all over the course and at obstacles trying to pull flags off the runners. The object is to finish the run with at least one or more flags to stay alive at the end. If the runner at any point during the run does not have any flags left, they become part of the undead (You can still finish the run but you will finish through the dead shoot).
Upon finishing the Zombie infested run, participants will be welcome to join the End of the World party to have some great food, drink Flying Dog beer and listen to some great local music! You will not want to miss this!!!
***We have a great announcement for this race: Mud Dog Run and Clickit Events has partnered with the local Rotary Club of Frederick with their international project. This project is to help donate money to Lifetime Wells for Ghana. It is an amazing story about one Rotarian deciding in 2006 to start drilling wells for villages in Ghana that do not have a running, potable water source. The villagers traditionally had to walk miles each day, just for a bucket of water. Since 2006, Lifetime Wells for Ghana has drilled over 1000 wells in Ghana and Tanzania. More information on this project can be found at www.wellsforghana.org.
Our Goal is to raise and donate $4,000, which is the amount to drill one well in a village in Ghana. Please help us get the word out by informing your family and friend to come out to run, chase or spectate at the Zombie Edition
