About This Activity

Join us for Kentucky's only networking opportunity for race directors.  Learn how to grow your race and make it a memorable experience for your runners.

RaceRise is pleased to present the 9th Annual Bluegrass Race Directors Symposium on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort (*).

The BRDS is a gathering of area race directors (road races, bike races, mud/obstacle races, triathlon/duathlon) to share best practices and learn from each other.  Registration is FREE.  We'll ask attendees to voluntarily chip in to help offset our breakfast and lunch cost ($5-10).

We plan an interactive agenda with lots of opportunities for interaction, networking and gathering best practices.  We'll also have area vendors who support the running/cycling/triathlon community with us so you can learn more about their helpful services.

Continential breakfast, soup/sandwich/salad lunch, symposium T-shirt, giveaways and distillery tours included.  The primary program will run from 8:00am-1:00pm with additional one-on-one time from 1-3pm for those wishing to learn more information about better utilizing the RunSignUp platform.  There will be something for everyone whether it's your first race or you are a seasoned RD.

Buffalo Trace Distillery will conduct a special distillery tour and tasting for anyone interested immediately following the conclusion of the symposium.  The tour/tasting starts at 1:00pm and lasts about 1 hour.

Race directors from Kentucky and surrounding states welcomed!  Come share, learn and get your battery charged for your next race(s).

(*)  At the present time we are scheduled to hold the symposium at Buffalo Trace Distillery.  There is some scheduled construction at Buffalo Trace that may impact their ability to host our event.  If we cannot hold the event at Buffalo Trace we'll reserve and let you know about our new Frankfort area venue for the symposium.
