IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP! - Just come out Saturday morning a little early and we be happy to get you or your team registered.
Come ready to compete! This event is a full day of Co-ed Field Day sports and activities for adults organized by Emerald Coast Social Sports. Rally your teammates to complete a variety of Field Day themed challenges and obstacle course. (No Team? No Problem! You can sign up as a Free Agent, and we'll match you up with some new friends!) The top four teams will face off in a kickball tournament finale!
All participants will receive an event T-shirt along with an event bag that includes a special Battle of the Best keepsake. Special prizes and awards will be presented to the top three teams.
Participants will enjoy specials in the Beer Garden and Food Village provided by Saltwater Restaurants. Once the games are over, sit back and enjoy an evening of live bands on the Boardwalk Main Stage. Don't want to let the party die? Head on over to the Helen Back Cafe on Okaloosa Island for the official post event after party!
This event is sponsored by White-Wilson Medical Center and the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds will benefit local FWB charities supported by the event sponsors.
Event details and schedule
In keeping with the spirit of co-ed social sports, all teams will need to have a minimum of four women on their team in order to qualify for the kickball finale. Participants need to wear athletic shoes or cleats. No bare feet please! Otherwise teams are encouraged to get as creative as possible with team names, colors and outfits. Families are encouraged to attend and cheer on their Battle of the Best warriors - so please keep team names PG-13.
Participants need to arrive at the NWF Fairgrounds by 9:30AM. The events will start at approximately 10AM. There will be a "refueling" period between 12AM and 1PM for participants to eat and hydrate. (Each paid participant will receive a $5 lunch voucher to redeem in the Saltwater Restaurants Food Village. Field Day activities will conclude around 4PM and Kickball Finale will run from 4PM till 5PM. Award ceremony will immediately follow, with Bands going on stage at 6PM.
There will be lots of activities available at the Festival throughout the day. There will be a Food Village by Saltwater Restaurants, a Beer Garden with craft beer tasting, a kids' area featuring inflatables, rock walls and euro-bungee (all day pass for $10) and the whole day will conclude with a 3 hour live music concert featuring 80's and 90's favorites from Poison, Motley Crue and Guns n' Roses performed by the infamous party band "Kings of Hollywood"!
Limited free parking will be available in front of Fairgrounds for those who arrive early. Additional parking will be available for a small fee.
